Dr. Meier, a medical physicist at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, needed Lu-177 for scanner calibration, a crucial step in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of targeted radiotherapy to young patients. It was Sunday, and Dr. Meier needed the dose in-hand by Thursday to keep a patient’s treatment schedule on course.
He needed to know – could SHINE come through on such short notice?
